Responsibilities
Jim is responsible for coordinating the delivery of McGriff's full suite of products and services to its clients. In his role of account leader, he drives strategy around McGriff's industry segments, developing current and relevant resources, data, content and industry insight for clients and prospects. He serves as a conduit across all lines of coverage to coordinate broking and direct the process of creating innovative solutions to address evolving risk areas within industry.
Experience
Jim began his career as an underwriter at Chubb & Son, in the executive protection department. During his tenure at Chubb, he was the Global wholesale manager of the executive protection department and a designated underwriting officer for the company. Prior to joining McGriff in 2022, he was with Aon, serving as the regional Executive Vice President of the New York Region. During his time with Aon, Jim's responsibilities include roles as Financial Services Group NY practice leader, focusing on the core management liability products, including directors and officers' liability, errors and omissions, employment practices liability, and cyber/privacy and security liability, and other related coverages. Later at Aon Jim rotated into a management role bringing all products and services to clients as Executive Vice President of the firm.

Jim provides strategic direction to and is involved with the handling of McGriff's complex clients. He assists with setting strategy for managing the marketplace, designing creative and innovative solutions for evolving risk areas, and directing the renewal strategy process to drive optimal results. He is also pivotal consulting certain Management Liability and E&O programs for Boards of Private Equity, Alternative Energy and Public Company clients.

Theana Iordanou
Founder, T-Risk Solutions
Theana Iordanou combines over thirty years of underwriting and brokerage experience in the insurance industry. She began her career at National Union as a public company D&O underwriter. Over the course of her career she has held underwriting management and senior marketing positions at both AIG and Allied World.
In 2018 at ARC Excess & Surplus she founded the ARC Personal Lines platform. She focused on the cross-sell placement of management liability as well as E&O lines for commercial risks and the correlating high net worth personal lines of the principals of public, private companies, physicians, lawyers, financial advisors and more.
With her years of Directors and Officers Liability expertise, at T- Risk Solutions she specializes in comprehensive risk management solutions and insurance placements of Management Liability, Transactional Risk, including IPOs, SPAC formations, Mergers and Acquisition run-off policies, Reps and Warranties and any contingent risks that require a strategic and unique policy structure.
Theana is a graduate of Georgetown University in Washington, DC. She holds a Bachelors degree in Economics and a graduate level designation in Psychology and Counseling from CW Post. Theana holds broker licenses in Property & Casualty as well as Accident & Health. She is a board member of Spencer Educational Foundation and the President of WIN (Women’s Initiative Network), a Division of The Pancyprian Association of America. She is the mother of four accomplished adults and the grandmother of three.
