Mr. Stein retired from EY in 2010, where he led EY’s Global Actuarial Services Practice. He has over 40 years’ of experience advising financial services companies, and the insurance industry on financial operating and strategic challenges. He provided significant support to EY’s China financial services practice for over 10 years. Previously, he led EY’s Global Financial Services Practice. His leadership roles at EY have included Managing Partner roles in US actuarial practice, US insurance practice, US financial services practice, Global financial services practice and Global actuarial practice. He has worked with some of the largest P/C insurers in the world, including. Chubb, AIG, AXA, PICC, China Life, Travelers and XL Capital. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, (FSA). He is a member of the AICPA, Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
